GitHub Unveils Agent HQ to Let Users Manage Multiple AI Coding Agents in One Place
GitHub is rolling out a new feature called Agent HQ, positioning itself as a unified platform to manage AI-coding agents from multiple vendors. The goal is to give developers more choice, control and flexibility over how they use agentic tools in their workflows.
Agent HQ allows integration of third-party AI coding agents (e.g., from OpenAI, Google, xAI) within the GitHub ecosystem.
A new “mission control” style dashboard (or control plane) will let users assign, monitor and compare multiple agents working on the same task.
Developers with a Copilot subscription will get access to features such as running parallel agents and picking the best output among them.
Additional features include a “Plan Mode” in VS Code (which creates step-by-step execution plans for agents) and enhanced code-review capabilities.
The move signals that GitHub is shifting from offering just its own AI assistant to orchestrating a broader agent ecosystem — with governance, security, and choice as key pillars.
Agent HQ marks a significant step toward making AI agents more mainstream and usable in everyday software development — not just as helpers in the editor but as parts of a managed ecosystem. For your team or organization, this means increased flexibility, but also new decisions around agent selection, workflow design and governance. As agent-driven coding becomes more embedded, developers will need to adapt how they supervise and integrate these tools into their existing processes. Read More

Google Gemini now Builds Entire Presentations Productively from a Single Prompt
Google Gemini is getting a major upgrade: its Canvas workspace now enables users to generate full presentation decks from a single prompt or uploaded file. The feature is initially available for Pro subscribers, with availability expanding to free users soon.
Canvas now accepts a document, spreadsheet, research file or just a topic description to auto-generate a slide deck.
Generated decks come pre-filled with structured text, visuals and a cohesive design theme.
Users can export the presentation directly to Google Slides for further editing or collaboration.
The Canvas workspace is built on Gemini 2.5 Pro and supports creating interactive assets beyond slides—such as quizzes, dashboards and web pages.
This update is part of Google’s broader push to embed Gemini-powered AI across its ecosystem, from workspace tools to browser features.
In essence, this update shifts presentations from a manual chore to an AI-assisted click-and-create workflow, streamlining how professionals build slides. As solopreneurs, coaches or small agency owners (as in your newsletter audience) look to create polished content quickly, this feature could slash prep time and lower the barrier to good design. Moving forward, the key will be how well teams integrate AI-generated visuals and narratives into their established workflows. Read more
