Google Pushes Gemini Into the AI Agent Race With Spark
At Google I/O 2026, Google unveiled a major push into “agentic AI” with the launch of Gemini Spark, an always-running AI assistant designed to automate tasks across apps, emails, and workflows. The announcement positions Google as a direct competitor in the growing AI agent space, while also expanding its developer-focused coding platform, Antigravity.
Gemini Spark is a 24/7 AI agent that works continuously in the background using Google Cloud infrastructure.
The platform is powered by Gemini 3.5 Flash, Google’s new high-speed AI model optimized for coding and agent workflows.
Spark integrates deeply with Google Workspace tools like Gmail, Docs, and Slides for automated productivity tasks.
Google expanded Antigravity with a desktop app, CLI, and SDK so developers can build and manage custom AI agents.
Future updates will allow Spark to connect with third-party platforms such as Canva, OpenTable, and Instacart through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
The launch of Gemini Spark shows Google’s ambition to move beyond chatbots into fully autonomous AI assistants that can manage real-world workflows in the background. By combining consumer productivity tools with developer infrastructure like Antigravity, Google is building an ecosystem where AI agents become a central layer across work, search, and software development. PMNA TUTORIAL: How to Create a Release Risk Detection System Using Make.com
Releases often appear ready on the surface, but hidden risks like unresolved bugs, failed tests, blocked dependencies, and incomplete tasks can cause serious production issues after deployment. Many teams only discover these problems too late, leading to reactive firefighting and unstable launches. By using Make.com, you can automate release risk detection and continuously evaluate release readiness before deployment happens.
You’ll learn to:
Define release risk factors and severity levels
Create a centralized release monitoring database
Set up a Make.com scenario to collect release data automatically
Pull open task and dependency data from project management tools
Retrieve unresolved bugs and issue severity information
Fetch QA and CI/CD test results
Evaluate blocked dependencies and pending approvals
Calculate release risk scores using weighted rules
Use AI to generate release readiness insights and recommendations
Send automated alerts for high-risk or critical releases
Why it matters:
Automating release risk detection helps teams identify deployment risks before they become production incidents. Instead of relying on intuition or last-minute checks, PMs and engineering teams gain a structured, data-driven system for evaluating release readiness. This improves launch stability, strengthens decision-making, and creates a more reliable release process overall.
THIS THURSDAY: Deploy Custom Business Operations Tools with Make and Claude AI
This Thursday, May 28th, I’m hosting a private, invite-only business automation meetup focused on helping companies build custom operational tools using Make.com and Claude AI. The event is specifically designed for business owners, founders, operators, and decision-makers who are actively looking for ways to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and implement AI into their business operations. This is not a public event, and attendance is intentionally limited to ensure higher-level conversations and practical collaboration.
Event Details:
Date: Thursday, May 28th
Host / Speaker: Ricardo Govindasamy, in collaboration with Make AI Global Calendar
Audience: Business owners, founders, operators, and key decision-makers only
Event Focus: How to deploy custom business operations tools using Make.com and Claude AI to automate workflows and improve internal systems
Location & Schedule: In-person event in Raleigh beginning at 5:30 PM with networking, followed by live demos, hands-on workflow building, and Q&A sessions through 7:30 PM (exact venue shared privately with approved attendees)
Why it matters:
This meetup is built for leaders who want practical implementation—not just theory. The session will showcase real ways businesses are using AI-powered automation to simplify operations, improve efficiency, and create scalable internal systems. Because the event is highly focused and intentionally curated, we’re only opening attendance to professionals who fit the target profile.
If you meet the criteria as a business owner or decision-maker and would like to attend, email me here directly, and I will send you the full event details and access information.
Miro adds AI agents to transform collaboration boards into AI powered workflows
Miro has introduced a new set of AI-powered agents and third-party integrations aimed at making collaborative workspaces more intelligent and automated. The update expands Miro’s vision beyond digital whiteboarding by turning its platform into a central hub where teams can brainstorm, organize projects, and automate workflows using AI assistance.
Miro launched AI agents that can summarize meetings, generate ideas, organize boards, and automate repetitive collaboration tasks.
The company added deeper integrations with workplace tools including Jira, Asana, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
New workflow features allow teams to connect discussions and planning directly to execution tools without leaving Miro.
Miro says the updates are designed to reduce context switching and improve productivity across distributed teams.
The platform is increasingly positioning itself as an AI-enabled workspace rather than just a virtual whiteboard tool.
The latest Miro update reflects the growing trend of collaboration platforms evolving into AI-powered productivity ecosystems. By combining intelligent agents with deeper app integrations, Miro is aiming to help teams move faster from brainstorming and planning to actual execution inside a single workspace. Read More
TOOL REVIEW: Rezonant Helps Product Managers Streamline Product Planning and Engineering Delivery
Rezonant is an AI-native product development platform designed to help teams move from product ideas to engineering execution faster and with far less friction. Instead of acting as just another project management tool, Rezonant combines product context, repository awareness, task generation, and AI-assisted implementation into one collaborative workspace. The platform is built to help product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders translate conversations, feedback, and requirements into structured, engineering-ready work.
AI-Powered Task Generation — Automatically converts product discussions, PRDs, screenshots, and feedback into detailed engineering tickets with implementation context.
Deep Repository Awareness — Connects directly to code repositories to understand architecture, frameworks, dependencies, and development patterns before generating tasks or implementation plans.
Visual Feedback & UI Annotation — Through its Alter Chrome extension, users can point to UI elements, record feedback, and generate scoped engineering tasks directly from live applications.
Jira & Linear Integration — Syncs generated tasks directly into existing project management workflows, allowing teams to continue working inside familiar systems.
AI Coding Agent Coordination — Helps orchestrate coding agents that can analyze repositories, propose changes, and organize implementation workflows into structured pull requests.
For project managers, Rezonant addresses one of the biggest operational challenges in software development: the disconnect between product intent and engineering execution. The platform reduces time spent writing tickets, clarifying requirements, and coordinating repetitive back-and-forth discussions by automatically translating ideas into actionable technical work. By combining AI-driven planning with repository-level context and workflow integrations, Rezonant gives project managers better visibility, faster delivery cycles, and a more streamlined path from strategy to shipped product.
