HEADLINE NEWS
Mria Launches First Native CRM for Jira on Atlassian Marketplace
Mria Labs has launched Mria CRM, the first customer-relationship-management tool built natively for Jira and now available on the Atlassian Marketplace. The solution embeds lead, contact, deal, and activity management directly within Jira’s environment, eliminating the need to switch between platforms.
It is the first fully native CRM for Jira, built on Atlassian Forge
Users can manage leads, contacts, companies, and deals entirely within Jira
The CRM supports customizable sales pipelines and deal-tracking workflows
All customer interactions and activities (calls, emails, meetings) are tracked in the system
It uses Jira’s native permission schemes to control access to CRM data securely
By bringing CRM functionality directly into Jira, Mria CRM aims to unify sales, support, and project workflows under a single system and reduce friction from jumping between tools. As it rolls out on the Atlassian Marketplace, teams using Jira may find it easier to streamline customer management, improve collaboration, and maintain data alignment across departments. Read More

Zoom Unveils Cross-App AI Notetaker, Avatars, and Smarter Productivity Tools
Zoom has rolled out a major update featuring cross-application AI tools, including an AI notetaker that works beyond Zoom, and AI avatars to represent users when they aren’t “camera-ready.” These new features aim to deepen Zoom’s position in the productivity space and compete with standalone AI meeting tools.
Zoom’s upgraded AI companion can now take notes across platforms (e.g. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and also during in-person meetings.
Users can annotate their own meeting notes during sessions, and the AI will later expand, structure, and polish them.
The update adds cross-platform search so users can find content across Google and Microsoft services.
Zoom will introduce photorealistic AI avatars that mimic users’ motions and can act in waiting rooms or meeting intros.
Other additions include smarter calendar tools (auto-scheduling, “free up my time”), custom AI agents, AI writing and research assistants, and deeper video management features.
With this update, Zoom is pushing beyond a video-conferencing tool to become a more integrated AI productivity platform. By embedding cross-application intelligence, avatars, and deeper integrations, Zoom seeks to make workflows smoother and reduce the friction of switching among apps. As these tools mature, they could reshape how meetings, notes, and virtual presence are handled across work environments. Read more
Monologue Helps PMs Simplify Project Reporting Through Advanced AI Voice Dictation
Monologue is an AI-powered dictation tool built for Mac users that transforms spoken words into clean, structured text. Unlike traditional voice-to-text software, it doesn’t just transcribe — it formats, removes filler words, adapts to your vocabulary, and respects your privacy with local transcription. Designed to help you capture ideas quickly and naturally, Monologue bridges the gap between thought and written communication.
Smart Formatting: Automatically adds punctuation, paragraphs, and structure for polished text without extra editing.
Custom Modes: Tailors dictation style based on context, whether you’re writing emails, notes, or documentation.
Vocabulary Learning: Adapts to your unique terms, acronyms, and style to improve transcription accuracy.
Offline Transcription: Processes speech locally on your device, ensuring privacy and faster results.
Multi-Language Support: Recognizes and transcribes in 100+ languages, supporting global collaboration.
For project managers, Monologue is more than just a transcription tool — it’s a productivity ally. By eliminating the friction of typing long updates, writing reports, or capturing meeting notes, it helps managers focus on communication and decision-making rather than documentation. With privacy-first design and adaptive features, it ensures that every project update is captured quickly, clearly, and securely, making it a valuable asset for busy teams.
